Tournament Sanctioning Process


BEFORE YOU APPLY FOR TOURNAMENT SANCTIONING

ALL Tournaments MUST be sanctioned by Ringette Alberta, following the guidelines in the Sanctioning Policy. Please read through the Policy, and have the following pieces in mind/in place when you apply:

  • Ensure your Officials Assignor is aware of the RIC Tournament Guide, they will also need to submit an officials list two weeks before the event
  • Have your deadline set for registration
  • Provide mandatory tournament information - How many games/team, and the refund/cancelation policy
  • Link or provide a copy of the rules
  • How many teams at each level are you striving for (please aim for small adjustments, if any)
  • Fees for the tournament
  • Tournaments are required to send a team list following your event to RAB
