Ringette Alberta is pleased to be offering more Shot Clock Officiating Program in 2025/26! Please note that while Ringette Canada is gearing up for their Shot Clock Officiating launch in the upcoming seasons, Ringette Alberta has opted to provide training that will set up Shot Clock Officials for events such as: exhibition games, league games, tournaments, provincials, and Alberta Winter Games.
Ringette Alberta is excited to offer a second season of virtual Shot Clock Official training for anyone who is new to the shot clock, or has experience but would like to learn more about the position. The clinic will cover all the basics, including how and where to set up shot clocks, when (and when not!) to reset, along with troubleshooting, nuances like the "second reset", and much more. Attendance at a clinic includes in-person mentorship at a game with one of the Program Leads!

Ringette Alberta is looking for experienced Shot Clock Officials to Self-ID for the 2025 AA Provincials, which are being held in EDMONTON, February 27-March 1.
My name is Judy Renneberg and I have been in the ringette community since I was 10 years old in many different roles, from player, on-ice official, coach, volunteer and finally Shot Clock Official. I have been invited to two National Ringette Championships as a Shot Clock Official and am a current member of the Ringette Canada National Shot Clock Committee. I am passionate about sharing how to be a confident, knowledgeable Shot Clock Official to as many people as I can, in order to better the game overall. Come learn with us!
My name is Iris Todd and I have been involved in Ringette for many years as a player, team staff and volunteer at many different board levels from community to provincial to Ringette Canada. My biggest involvement in Ringette has been in officiating as an on-ice official, evaluator and officiating supervisor at many events. In the past couple years, I have also become a shot clock official. I hope to share my knowledge and experience as an on-ice official and a shot clock official to improve shot clock officials so that the game is better for everyone.
We are on the lookout for EXPERIENCED Shot Clock Officials to help with FUTURE Programming. Email Lauren to register your interest (Future programming is TBD!!)
