Make Ethical Decisions Class: in class or webinar ~ 3.5 hrs.
Once the MED Class is completed and CREDITED IN YOUR NCCP LOCKER, access to the MED Evaluation (test) is FREE.
You can take this through Alberta Sport, the Coaching Association of Canada (CAC), or any other provincial sport body offering this (make sure it is NCCP content). Ringette Alberta is unable to approve any equivalencies, so if you feel you've taken something that correlates, you will need to contact the CAC for confirmation. Click here for a list and contacts for Provincial and Territorial Sport Organizations.
AB Sport offers several MED classes every month (example below). The module title is a link to register. If a deadline has passed, or if a class says it's full, there is an email address you can try at the bottom of the registration page to either ask if there's still space, or to be added to a wait list in case someone drops out. These classes are limited to 12 participants.
A bit harder to navigate, but the CAC Calendar will sometimes show courses in other provinces. Not all provincially hosted courses show up here, however, so you can reach out to provincial sporting bodies similar to AB Sport to see if they are hosting anything. Make sure the filters are set correctly. Choose a month, a province, and select 'multi-sport'.
