Ringette Excellence Award
The Ringette Excellence Award is intended to recognize an individual or group who has made a significant contribution towards showcasing the popularity and the overall appeal of the sport. The Award is provincial in scope and stature. The Award recognizes outstanding life-long achievement as a volunteer supporting and improving the sport.

Friends of Ringette Award
The Ringette Alberta's Friends of Ringette Awards are intended to recognize outstanding individuals who have shown dedication to the sport of Ringette.

Phyllis Sadoway Development Award
Given Phyllis' commitment to developing the game of Ringette, this award is given to a maximum of two associations each season that demonstrate an outstanding commitment to developing and growing Ringette in their communtiy.
The Phyllis Sadoway Development Awards accompanies a cheque for $500 for each selected association to use to further enhance their programs. These funds may be used to offer development opportunites for officials, team staff, players, volunteers and parents with the association.

Coach of the Year Award
Ringette Alberta will award one Coach of the Year award for the 2009-2010 season. The Coach of the Year will be presented with a cheque for $250 and a certificate at the 2010 Ringette Alberta Volunteer and Athlete Recognition and Awards Luncheon. The coach's home association will also receive $250 to be used to aid in further development of their coaches.

The Youth Volunteerism Award is intended to recognize outstanding individuals under the age of 18 who have shown dedication to the sport of Ringette.

Official of the Year Award
Ringette Alberta will award one Senior and one Junior Official of the Year award annually. This Official will have demonstrated a strong performance and a committment to the sport of ringette through active partipation and involvement. Criteria for this award include level of comtribution, longevity of service, impact to sport, and demonstration of excellence, attitude and peer feedback.
