Trainer Requirements

Trainers added to the Ringette Alberta Team Registration Form must have Valid First Aid certification. A copy of their certificate or proof of qualification must be submitted to Ringette Alberta. There is a maximum one Trainer per team.

One or more of the following meets Valid First Aid requirements:

Medical Doctor/Student

Athletic Therapist

Registered Nurse

Firefighter

Ambulance Training

Valid first aid certification must include the following:

Seven (7) hours or more in length

Principals of First Aid and Safety

Artificial Respiration

Wounds and Bleeding

Shock, Unconsciousness & Fainting

Fractures

Joint Injuries

Head and Spinal Injuries

Medical Conditions (Asthma, etc.)

Manager Requirements

Manager Certification from Ringette Canada is required for managers listed on the Team Registration Form. Ringette Alberta's policy does not require managers who are not listed on the Team Registration Form to have this certification
