Ringette Alberta will be determining which regions will require officials clinics, and will be finding hosts based on that information for the 2009-2010 season. If you are interested in hosting please contact pc@ringettealberta.com and fill out a clinic request form.
* Recommended minimum age for participants attending Level 1 clinics is 14 years of age.
* Level 2/3 clinics are only for participants 16 years of age or older as of December 31, 2009.
General Requirements for Hosting an Officiating (NOCP) Clinic:
- Minimum of 15 participants
- Host must pay a per participant fee to cover the cost of the materials and registration fees
- Host must cover the cost of room and ice rentals, a.v. equipment, plus optional refreshments
- Pre-register all participants
- Make all room and ice arrangements
- Advertise the clinic
- Help hand out materials
- Sell optional materials and collect the money
