2009 Annual General Meeting - NOTICE
The 2009 Annual General Meeting will be held Friday, April 24 - Sunday, April 26, 2009 at the Ramada Hotel, 11834 Kingsway Avenue, Edmonton.
Individual reservations can be made by contacting the In-house Reservations directly at (780) 453-7305 or by calling the Central Reservations Office at 1-888-747-4114 or by email: ramadaedmonres@silverbirchhotels.com. When booking please remember to mention the group name Ringette Alberta - Individual to ensure that you will receive the appropriate rate and are included in the guest room block. These guestrooms will be held until 4:00 pm on the day of arrival unless guaranteed by a major credit card.

- Standard rooms with 1 Queen size bed @ $110 + taxes
- Deluxe rooms with 2 Queen size beds @ 110 + taxes

2008 Annual General Meeting - UPDATE
The 2008 Annual General Meeting weekend was held April 18 - 20, 2008 in Calgary at the Radisson Hotel Calgary Airport.
Friday night featured Guest Speakers from Ringette Canada dealing with Ringette Canada's Strategic Plan and Long Term Athlete Development (LTAD).
Ringette Alberta President, Cal Towns opened Saturday morning with a power point presentation to promote the current structure of the Provincial Association and to highlight available volunteer opportunities. We then got off to a entertaining start with Infectious Inspiration and continued with solid presentations on How to get to a high performance level in Ringette, Reflections and Milestones from the 1970's and Challenges existing in the Ringette Officiating Community.

The 2008 Volunteer and Athlete Recongition and Awards Luncheon was held on Saturday, April 19 with 180 Ringette Family members attending. To see a complete list of the 2008 Award Winners please go to Volunteer and Athlete Recognition Awards.

Announcements
- 2011 Western Canadian Ringette Championship Hosting applications will soon be available.
- Open A Division will be a part of the Western Canadian Ringette Championships in 2009.
- Cash Calendar Fundraiser has been discontinued due to the lack of revenue; Ringette Alberta will be looking other revenue options.
- Petite AA - no changes will be implemented for the upcoming season. Long term Athlete Development will change this structure in the 2009-10 season.
